I was born in a small town just to the west of London. I have always lived close to the River Thames and as a young boy would spend most of the summer school holidays rowing on the river. Now, I live in the Royal Borough of Windsor, close to the river and not too far from the famous Windsor Castle where the Queen spends most weekends.

I enjoy spending time in my small garden and grow tomatoes, beans and blackcurrants. My hobbies are photography, genealogy and magic.

I worked for the BBC as a television cameraman for many years and worked on many of their classic series. I still work freelance in television.

For the last ten years I have worked as a Program Director, travelling to over seventy countries and all seven continents.

England, Wales and Scotland are full of history, with beautiful landscapes, interesting people and fascinating towns and villages.

I am incredibly proud of my country and I look forward to showing you the wonders of my country, Great Britain.
