Michele Thompson

Originally from the North East of England, I now live in Manchester (officially), but spend most of my time on the road sharing my lovely country with visitors from all over the world. One day I will be ready to live in my house and enjoy it but not just yet. They say you are the luckiest person in the world if your passion is your job, so I consider myself very lucky that travelling is my passion and my career.

I have been guiding in various different guises for over ten years and have worked in almost every city in Europe. I decided a few years ago to focus my time closer to home and family and am now loving helping visitors to get to know the delights that the United Kingdom and Ireland have to offer. My family now live in Cornwall so I travel frequently from the very lands end of the country to the Highlands, the contrast and beauty never fails to impress and astound me.

History, architecture, interesting characters, beautiful landscape, mystery, drama...The UK has it all and I look forward every trip to helping visitors get under the skin of each area and have an authentic and enjoyable experience.
